ARMOURED ASSAULT is on the second day of BATTLECRY09, and a Kiwthrall event.

This event is intended to be an

AWESOME DESTRUCTIVE SMACKDOWN on FUNTIMES.

Bring an army (or borrow one) and come join in the fun. This is supposed to be a enjoyable event, to off set the hardcore competitiveness of the first day; however, while old players are encouraged to reign in their super competitive egos, new players are encouraged to know the rules of Warmachine or Hordes…

ARMOURED ASSAULT is a tournament event played using an altered version of the standard Tour of Duty rules, where you compete as a faction, showing the whole of Immoren who is the

REAL ULTIMATE POWER.

The Games:
We intend to have a rather relaxed format, with games having the following structure:

Four players per table. All against all.
When either:
- Your Warlock/Warcaster is destroyed; or
- All your Warbeasts/Jacks are destroyed (or disabled).
You (your whole army) are removed from the game.
Each game will last for no more than 6 rounds.
Scoring:
As said above, you will be competing as a faction, Event winners will be determined as follows:

You gain VPs for every (non-friendly) model you destroy or disable.
The VPs that you gain will be tallied into a scaled Faction total.
At the end of the event, the faction with the highest Faction total will be declared the

REAL ULTIMATE POWER
(For flipping out and totally killing everyone)
Suck it Reds… or Blues… whichever it may be.
The player who survived the most games without being removed from the game will be declared the ARMOURED MASTER of the tournament.
Your Army:
You may only use one army list for this event, which must be declared before the games start.

Your army selection may not exceed 350pts.
Your army’s Battlegroup (warmachine) or ‘lock+‘beasts (Hordes) must contain at least 11 VPs worth of models (not counting Warcaster attachments).
Your army may not include any Mercenaries or Minions unless you are using a mercenary contract.
All non Warcaster/Warlock solos and units in your list must cost no more than 50 points each.

While we will endeavor to make this quite a lighthearted event, Battlecry does open at 9am, please be there so we can begin gaming at 9:30am. Preregistration is advised.
