Members of the two Courts of the Fae have come together, for it is Midsummer Eve, the most magical night of the year, the night when the veil between the human realm and the Fae realm is thinnest. There are those who are to be judged for their actions; there are those who have come to find secrets, and those who wish to reveal them; and there are those who have simply come to see old friends and enjoy the food and drink. After the judgements last year, the events of A Midsummer Night’s Dream occurred. The Judge has ruled that this was an event that may have not been in the best interests of the Courts, and has demanded that the culprits come before him and explain themselves. He has gone so far as to bring the humans involved into the Fae Realm, so that he might hear their tales – and this has disturbed many people. With the big names of the Bright Court involved, the judgement on this is important, and drama is sure to happen!
This is designed as a pre-written LARP, with a wide range of Player Characters representing the two Courts of the Fae, unaligned fae, and humans; there are no NPC characters designed. Characters are designed as examples of certain creature archetypes, and will be written based on folklore and myths. It is designed as an evening game, to run for approximately 2-3 hours.
Set dressing is expected to be of a moderate level; more elaborate sets in keeping with the fantastical nature of the Fae Realm would be the ideal, though are not necessarily practicable. It is intended that there be drinks and nibbles available for players.
