Paranoia - critically nominal

PARANOIA: CRITICALLY NOMINAL

Player spaces: 8 plus npcs

Rejoice, citizens! Your diligent service and faith in the Computer has been amply rewarded.

In this Live Action Roleplaying experience, players will take the role of High Programmers. You are the Grand Poobah, the Big Cheese, the Power Behind The Throne. The elite of Alpha Complex are, depending on who you ask...

-Highly functional psychopaths, driven insane by the paranoia and stress of climbing the Security Clearance ladder.
-Degenerate, drug-addled hedonists scrabbling to hang onto power.
-Mad scientists, obsessive collectors and eccentric lunatics.
-Incompetent buffoons trying to hide their incompetence from discovery.
-Deceitful sycophants who lick The Computer's terminals while secretly spreading treason.

In any case, as High Programmers, players are free to enjoy the fruits of their labours (and those of everyone else) as the pre-eminent leaders of Alpha Complex. The suffering, struggle and hardship of the lower clearances is behind you now,

There is no way your plans will be scuppered by Alpha Complex's nightmarish bureaucracy...

No way that rival High Programmers will seek to bring about your demise, or worse yet, demotion...

No way that the multifarious traitors and freaks who greased your path to power might want the favours they were promised...

No way that the citizens below you will revolt...

No way that the Computer will find even more insane targets that cannot possibly be completed...

And there's certainly no chance that a multi-sector emergency could break out under your benevolent and wise management. Even if such were to occur, all that will happen is that you'll be sealed in a hardened bunker complex with your closest peers, pillars of Alpha Complex society all, to take control of said situation remotely. So clearly there's nothing to be concerned about and everything is perfectly fine. With you on the job, how could it be otherwise?

PARANOIA: CRITICALLY NOMINAL is a game for up to 8 players, with additional spaces available as part of the NPC 'Cast of Thousands', which will also be fun.

The Computer says so, and the Computer is your Friend.
