RobzaCon

During the Semester One break in April we run the President's Con...

2011 we are running RobzaCon over the weekend of the 9th and 10th of April in Commerce A, at the Auckland University. We also have the place booked on Friday night for an evening event. If you would like to organise something then please let us know.

Info

RobzaCon is a fun weekend where we rerun games from past events for new members of America, and run some new games too. Plus we have board games and space for hanging out. The RPGA folks will be running some DnD 4th Edition and Stacey will possibly be along to demo Steve Jackson Games as well.

Larps

On Saturday morning we will be running some Freeform Live Action Roleplay (LARP) games, from 9:30am to 12:30-1pm. Want to pla yin one? Questions? Contact Robza on alwayspaladin@gmail.com. See below for more.

"Dead Man's Chest" is a piratical romp for 12 - 16 players, being run by Anna Klein.

"Two pirate crews descend upon the sleepy Caribbean island of Santo Oloroso to avenge the death of their former master Captain Flint, or to find and grab his treasure. Old enmities will surface, deals will be made and broken, and some folk will swing from the yard-arm while others receive the dreaded Black Spot, before these affairs are settled for good or ill."

"Happy Birthday RJ" is an upperclass Oil Baron Heir's Birthday party, again for 12 - 15 players, being run by Robza.
"1980's Texas is all about money and oil. It doesn't just matter who you are, but how much you are worth. The women are all beautiful with big hair, big smiles and big shoulder pads. Everything is larger than life. The older man is in vogue, they're the ones with the money. The women around here may sometimes be loose but they are definitely not free.

Tonight is a lavish birthday party for R.J. Harrington held at his parents' ranch - SouthSpoon. Family and friends are gathered to wish R.J. well on his 30th birthday and coming of age. As he turns 30, R.J. comes into the inheritance left to him by his grandfather Eli Harrington."

Cost

It's $15 for the weekend and all current America members get a $5 discount, so it's only $10 for a whole weekend of gaming... It's $10 per day, or $5 per day for all current America members.

Anyone attending will receive a raffle ticket when you register each day, and at the end of each day there will be raffle winners names drawn and the winners will get to choose from a table of random prize goodies including some small board/card games, vouchers and other items.

Food

A small snack table will be available for the whole weekend. Bring some coin for that.

The Saturday evening we plan to do a group delivery order from Hell Pizza, so all you need do is provide your money and the order you want, we'll see that it gets to you.

Saturday evening is also available for more gaming goodness or movie viewing or even a gaming pub-styled quiz. Please let us know what you would like to do.
